I am so glad you’re interested in Songwriting Lessons!  I would love to work together to develop that musical talent within you.   I’ve been teaching singing, piano, and songwriting lessons for 10+ years.  If you’re considering Lessons With Lindsey, here’s what you can expect from me to help you feel at ease while learning your instrument of choice:

As a songwriting coach, I want to meet you where you’re at. With beginners who struggle with nervousness, I make the environment very laid back and relaxed so there is no pressure. With new students who come already experienced, I find out what elements of their songwriting is lacking, and give them creative exercises to develop the creative capacity, on their own practice time, they know what to work on. I’ve seen amazing improvements over my years of teaching! Each person is different, and I enjoy the challenge of making each individual experience specially designed for them!

Music lessons (singing lessons, piano lessons, songwriting lessons) take place in London, ON, or virtually.

Winning a Gospel Music Award (and being nominated for 2 others) is something I’m very grateful to have experienced!  I’ve been writing songs since I was about 12 years old. Since then, I have written probably over 200 songs, recorded 3 albums, and had radio singles played in 89 countries. One of my greatest passions is to teach others how to write songs! Not everyone has the gift of songwriting, but I have found that 80% of my students have been able to co-write a song with me that they love. I have even gone to the recording studio a couple of times with students to record their original songs!

This is a unique type of lesson. It’s artistic more than anything. In songwriting lessons, I do not focus on getting better at instruments, but instead focus on the art of composing a song.
